SACRAMENTO, CA (March 25, 2024) – A multiple vehicle collision resulted in three injuries on Highway 50 close to Jefferson Boulevard, as confirmed by the West Sacramento Fire Department. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday when four vehicles were involved in a collision while traveling westbound.
The accident led to one of the cars catching fire shortly afterward. Paramedics from the West Sacramento Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, providing immediate medical treatment to the injured individuals before transporting them to the hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed. Two other individuals involved in the collision were reported to be unharmed and managed to leave the scene in their vehicles.
Law enforcement has yet to ascertain the cause of the crash. They have initiated an investigation to determine the underlying factors that contributed to this multi-car accident.
