In Sacramento, a high-speed pursuit ended in chaos when a suspect collided with two vehicles before fleeing on foot. According to local law enforcement, the incident caused considerable disruption in the area.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department reported that the chase initially started when deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle for a routine traffic violation. However, the driver failed to comply and sped off, instigating a pursuit. Amid the chase, the suspect’s vehicle crashed into two other cars, resulting in significant damage.
Following the collisions, the individual tried to escape the scene by abandoning the car and running away. Authorities were quick to react, deploying a sheriff’s K-9 unit to track down the suspect. The canine officer proved to be pivotal in apprehending the fugitive after a brief pursuit on foot.
