SACRAMENTO, CA — A tragic shooting occurred near the 65th St. light rail station on Thursday afternoon, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. Sacramento Police have confirmed that the fatal incident took place around 3:15 p.m. in the vicinity of Q St. and 65th St., a hub for Sacramento Regional Transit’s Gold Line and multiple bus routes.
Upon arrival, officers discovered one male victim who sustained a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional victims, a male and a female, suffering from gunshot injuries, were promptly transported to a local hospital. While the female victim’s condition is reported as stable, there has been no update on the male victim’s status.
