Sacramento, CA (June 26, 2024) – A vehicle collision in the early hours of Tuesday morning has left one person dead and two severely injured. Officials responded to an emergency call at approximately 4:13 a.m. on northbound Business 80 near the Fulton Ave onramp where a car was reported to have veered off the road.
The vehicle, for reasons still under review by local authorities, struck the right shoulder barrier, overturned, and was consumed by flames. Tragically, the driver did not survive and was declared deceased at the scene. Two passengers, whose identities have not yet been disclosed, were found with serious injuries and burns. They received immediate medical attention and were later transported to a nearby hospital.
