The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred at the intersection of Dillard and Jackson Roads. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 7:13 AM, where they discovered that occupants were trapped in the wreckage. Authorities had to execute a vehicle extraction to reach at least one injured person.

Initial reports from authorities have revealed that a male driver was the individual who suffered major injuries and was subsequently taken by ambulance to the nearest hospital. As of now, the circumstances leading to the collision are still unclear, and the CHP has not yet determined the cause of the accident.
