38-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in North Sacramento Collision near Ephesus Avenue

Sacramento, CA – A fatal motor vehicle accident claimed the life of a 38-year-old man from Rio Linda, identified as Daniel Lee Morris, on the night of March 9, 2024, in North Sacramento. The incident occurred when Morris, riding his motorcycle, collided with another vehicle.

Responding to the emergency call at approximately 9:30 PM, Sacramento Police Department officers and paramedics rushed to the intersection of Ephesus Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard, the site of the devastating crash.

Upon arrival, first responders found Morris severely injured at the scene, with the other vehicle implicated in the accident having fled. Morris was swiftly transported to a local hospital where, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

In the wake of such tragedies, families enduring the loss of a loved one due to another’s negligent driving have the right to pursue a wrongful death claim. This legal avenue can offer monetary relief to cover the costs incurred by medical bills, funeral expenses, and the loss of financial support, especially if the deceased was a primary provider.

Dealing with insurance firms can be daunting, as they routinely attempt to minimize or outright deny claims. Legal expertise in personal injury cases becomes critical in advocating for the family’s rightful compensation by conducting effective negotiations.
