Two-Vehicle Collision in Los Angeles County Results in Fatalities

CULVER CITY, CA – A fatal crash involving a Toyota Prius and a commercial truck occurred on the Santa Monica (405) Freeway at National Boulevard early on Thursday, May 30, 2024. The California Highway Patrol reports that the collision took place at approximately 2:13 a.m. The intense impact caused both vehicles to burst into flames, resulting in the tragic death of 74-year-old Clifton Gore Jr. and an unidentified woman who was in the vehicle with him.
