Two Killed in Triple-Vehicle Collision at La Brea Avenue and Coliseum Street in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (March 10, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles’ Baldwin Hills area claimed two lives and caused additional injuries on Saturday afternoon. The collision, involving a Mercedes Benz and two other vehicles, occurred at approximately 3 p.m. along La Brea Ave near Coliseum St.

Authorities report that the Mercedes Benz was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Mercedes initially struck a second vehicle that was preparing to execute a turn. The impact of the collision caused the Mercedes to flip and crash into a third vehicle before coming to rest upside down.

The two occupants of the Mercedes, an adult male and female, suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. Occupants of the other vehicles involved experienced various injuries and were attended to by emergency services on site. The current condition of the injured parties has not been disclosed.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is actively conducting an investigation to determine all contributing factors that led to this deadly accident. No further details regarding the identities of the deceased or the specific circumstances have been released as of this report.
