LOS ANGELES, CA (June 25, 2024) – A tragic automobile crash on the 105 Freeway near Nash Street claimed the lives of Carlos Sicairos and Bryan Bolanos in the early hours of Saturday, close to the Los Angeles International Airport. The calamitous event took place at approximately 3:00 a.m. on June 22nd, when a 2016 Lexus sedan, reportedly speeding in the westbound lanes, failed to maintain its course around a curve. The vehicle spun out of control, resulting in a collision with a Ford Mustang and two pickup trucks.
The force of the impact overturned the Lexus, which came to rest atop the Ford, trapping multiple passengers. Emergency responders arriving at the scene had to extricate the occupants amidst the wreckage. Despite the swift response of paramedics, 19-year-old Bryan Bolanos and 18-year-old Carlos Sicairos were pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional individuals, including a 19-year-old passenger from the Lexus, suffered moderate injuries and were transported to UCLA Westwood Medical Center for urgent medical care.
