A tragic car collision near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has resulted in two fatalities and left three more individuals hospitalized on Tuesday evening.
The accident happened shortly before 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Vista Del Mar and Imperial Highway, just across from Dockweiler State Beach in the Playa Del Rey area of Los Angeles.
Law enforcement and emergency responders were swiftly on the scene, where they found a severely damaged white Tesla and another SUV. The impact left both vehicles in ruins, indicating the force of the crash.
Officials from the Los Angeles Police Department have confirmed that two people were declared dead at the site. Among the injured, two are in a critical condition, and one is reported to be in fair condition. The Los Angeles Fire Department has not yet released the names of the victims but has provided preliminary information about four of them, which includes an 18-year-old male, an 18-year-old female, a 16-year-old boy, and a 30-year.
