LOS ANGELES, CA (March 11, 2024) – A tragic collision in Los Angeles last Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of a 60-year-old man, whom authorities have identified as Terry Carter. The accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. on North Vermont Avenue, near Hollywood Boulevard.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the incident involved Carter being struck by a big-rig as it turned onto Hollywood Boulevard. Despite the swift response from emergency services, Carter sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations into the accident revealed that Carter was a member of the local unhoused community. The truck driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigative authorities.
