LAFD Responds to Major Accident with Multiple Casualties

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) rushed to the scene of a severe multiple-car collision that occurred at 8808 Vista Del Mar at approximately 7:54 p.m. The tragic incident led to multiple injuries and one confirmed death.

Emergency crews worked diligently to extricate two individuals from the wreckage. Subsequently, four victims were transported to local medical facilities. The patients in need of urgent care included an 18-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, another 18-year-old female, and a 30-year-old female, with three of them listed in critical condition and the fourth in fair condition. Tragically, one person was pronounced dead at the scene; their identity has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

The Los Angeles Police Department is actively involved in the ongoing investigation to determine the factors contributing to the collision. Meanwhile, on-site first responders, which comprised units from Fire Station 51, Battalion 4, and the West Bureau of Council District 11, were coordinated by Nicholas Prange, the LAFD Public Information Officer, who confirmed these details through an official statement.
