Multiple Injuries Reported Following Major Collision on Northbound Antelope Valley Freeway in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (May 28, 2024) – In the early hours of Saturday morning, a major collision involving five cars took place on the Antelope Valley Freeway (Route 14) near Soledad Canyon Road, resulting in one individual being hospitalized. Units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the emergency call at 5:07 a.m., where one of the vehicles was discovered down an embankment.

The condition of the injured party has not been made public as of yet. Following the incident, all lanes heading northbound on the freeway were shut down, causing significant traffic delays. The lanes were, however, reopened by 6:46 a.m. after authorities managed the situation.

The cause of the multi-vehicle accident is currently under investigation by the local authorities. Updates regarding the circumstances of the crash and the state of the injured individual will be made available as new information comes to light.
