In a tragic incident on Friday, a motorcyclist was killed and a young passenger sustained critical injuries following a collision with a Metro G (Orange) Line bus in the Van Nuys-Valley Glen region of Los Angeles. The accident occurred just around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Hazeltine Avenue and Bessemer Street, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The identity of the deceased motorcyclist has yet to be disclosed by authorities. The LAPD reported that a 12-year-old girl, who was riding as the passenger on the motorcycle, was critically hurt and subsequently rushed to a local hospital for emergency care.
