In the early hours of Sunday morning, a family endured a harrowing experience when their vehicle crashed into a power pole in the Hyde Park neighborhood at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and 52nd Street, Los Angeles County. The driver attempted to flee the scene but was later apprehended by the authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported to the scene shortly before 2 a.m. following reports of the collision. Upon arrival, officers encountered severe damage to a dark-colored sedan which had been carrying a family of four at the time of the incident.
Among the injured were an adult female and two children, one being a 5-month-old baby, who were found in a critical state. The on-site visuals indicated a significant impact, with damage evident on the vehicle and a noticeable bloodstain by the front passenger’s door.
The Los Angeles Fire Department medical team quickly transported the infant, who sustained grave injuries, to a local hospital.
