Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision Claims Woman’s Life in North Hollywood

In a tragic turn of events, a two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman in North Hollywood early on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

The Los Angeles Police Department received calls about the incident at around 12:40 a.m., directing responders to the intersection of Tujunga Boulevard and Sherman Way. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim’s vehicle, while heading north on Tujunga, had collided with another vehicle that was traveling east on Sherman Way, according to an LAPD spokeswoman.

First responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department reached the site shortly thereafter and pronounced the woman dead at the scene of the accident.

Authorities have stated that the driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash stayed on site and cooperated with the investigation process. As officers work to piece together the details leading up to the collision, the cause of this fatal incident is still under close investigation. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
