Fatal Multi-Car Collision on 101 Freeway Claims the Life of Dustin Perdomo

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 25, 2024) – A fatal multi-vehicle collision claimed the life of 32-year-old Dustin Perdomo early Wednesday morning on the 101 Freeway in the vicinity of the Canoga Avenue off-ramp, Woodland Hills.

The tragic incident occurred at around 3:52 a.m. and prompted the closure of all westbound lanes following a SigAlert issued by authorities. Although emergency services arrived promptly at the scene, one casualty was confirmed. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified Perdomo; however, details regarding his city of residence have not been released. No additional injuries were reported in the crash that involved several vehicles.

Officials are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the pile-up to determine the precise cause. The freeway remained closed for a significant period while the incident was being managed and the thoroughfare was cleared.
