LOS ANGELES, CA (April 18, 2024) – A tragic collision at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West Florence Avenue claimed the life of a 25-year-old male driver late Tuesday night. The accident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. when an SUV, described as a black BMW, failed to stop at a red light and collided with a gray sedan.
The force of the impact reportedly caused the SUV to spin out of control. Emergency responders pronounced the sedan’s driver deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until family members are notified.
The driver of the BMW SUV remained at the location following the collision and was subsequently taken into custody by law enforcement. The driver’s name has yet to be revealed.
