Fatal Collision on 110 Freeway Near MLK Jr. Boulevard in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 8, 2024) – A tragic collision involving two vehicles on the Harbor (110) Freeway led to a fatality early Wednesday morning in downtown Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 2:11 a.m. near the Martin Luther King Jr. on-ramp on the northbound side of the freeway.

Reports indicated that the incident involved a white minivan and a gray Dodge Charger. The impact of the collision prompted a response from the Los Angeles Fire Department, who swiftly dispatched paramedics to the scene.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, one individual was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.
