VENTURA COUNTY, CA – A collision involving multiple vehicles occurred on the morning of April 26, 2024, at the intersection of Los Angeles Avenue (State Route 118) and Vineyard Avenue in Ventura County, causing significant traffic delays.
The accident, which took place around 6:34 a.m., involved a blue Toyota Prius, a blue Honda Fit, and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. The eastbound lanes of SR-118 were obstructed as a result of the crash.
Emergency medical personnel, including the Ventura County Fire Department, arrived at the scene to attend to the victims. At least one individual sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
Following the accident, tow trucks were summoned to clear the debris and remove the vehicles from the scene, one of which had sustained major front-end damage.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation. Authorities are examining all factors that may have contributed to the collision and will ultimately establish the responsible party.
