Downtown LA Incident: Motorcycle Accident on 10 Freeway Near Alameda Street

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A serious accident involving a motorcycle and a car disrupted traffic Friday morning on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway at Alameda Street in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:49 a.m. on May 3rd, sources from the California Highway Patrol have indicated. The crash involved a gray Honda Accord and a black and green motorcycle. The events leading up to the collision remain undisclosed as investigations continue.

First responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived swiftly at the scene to administer aid to the motorcyclist. The current medical status of the rider, including whether or not hospitalization was necessary, has not been made public.
