Collision on Angeles Forest Highway at Big Tujunga Canyon Road Results in Injuries

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif.—An early morning multi-vehicle collision on May 10th led to significant traffic disruption in the Hidden Springs area. The incident involved four cars and took place at the intersection of Angeles Forest Highway and Big Tujunga Canyon Road.

The California Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 7:13 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Angeles Forest Highway. The vehicles, including a Kia Optima, a black Dodge Challenger, a dark-colored Mitsubishi, and a black Dodge Charger sedan, were found obstructing traffic in both directions.

Emergency services, including paramedics, arrived promptly at the scene. The extent and nature of the injuries sustained by those involved have not yet been disclosed, and it was not immediately clear if any victims were taken to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol’s preliminary findings indicated the Kia sustained significant front-end damage. Consequently, both the Kia and the Dodge Challenger were removed from the scene by tow services.

An ongoing investigation by local authorities is underway to establish the cause and responsible parties in the multi-vehicle collision on Angeles Forest Highway. No further details regarding potential contributing factors or the conditions of the drivers and passengers have been made available.
